Here is the second recipe I promised my viewers. I originally posted this 3 years ago exactly tomorrow!! Crazy eh? Can’t believe I’ve been drinking this deliciousness regularly for over 3 years already.This green smoothie is known as the Namaste at Liquid Nutrition. Absolutely delicious. This picture was taken a while ago before I had my Vitamix. I used to make it in the NutriBullet and although it did the job, you can’t even compare to when these ingredients are blended in the Vitamix. I know not everyone has the luxury of having this expensive piece of equipment so use a traditional blender or the NutriBullet. If you find that the kale is not getting properly pulverized and you’re swallowing bits of leaves when you drink your smoothie, I would opt switching your kale to spinach. It will slightly change the flavour but you’ll still be reaping all the benefits.


1 cup almond milk (or 1/2 cup almond milk and 1/2 cup coconut water)
Kale (2-3 pieces with stems removed)
1 frozen banana
1 apple
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 tbsp real maple syrup
1 tsp matcha powder
1/2 tsp maca powder (optional)
optional added fibre and Omega-3 just add hemp seeds and ground flaxseed

Blend ingredients together and enjoy!
