I have many women come up to me pointing to their mid-section asking “how do I get rid of this?”  I give them the same answer I give to anyone who has ever asked me how to get rid of a particular problem area.  You can’t spot reduce fat!  You can, however, focus on a particular area to increase the muscle tone.  Having said that though, if there is a layer of fat covering your body, the muscle will definition will not show.  You need to lose the fat before you can appreciate the muscle that lies beneath it.
