Are you ready to take your practice to the next level? Workshops are a great way to dig deeper into your existing yoga practice. These workshops are each created with the practitioner in mind, whether you are new to the practice or have been practicing for decades and just want to explore new ways of deepening your practice.

HEADSTAND WORKSHOP
This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels. This uplifting workshop will help you discover everything you need to know to turn your practice upside down. The thought of going upside down can be very daunting to many and as such, students may not even know where to begin. This workshop is a good place to start!
Headstands rest your heart and have been known to provide mental clarity, improve memory and slow down the signs of aging.
This workshop is designed to help students discover how to prepare their body and mind for both the simple and more challenging variations of headstand and to approach them with confidence and the necessary tools to take back into their daily practice.

ARM BALANCING WORKSHOP
Arm balances strengthen the muscles, bones and joints of the hands, arms, chest, shoulders, back and abdominals. They also increase blood flow to these parts of the body. The mind becomes more focused and content when yogic flight is achieved.
This workshop will be broken down into two parts.

Part 1: Beginner
This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels, regardless of whether or not your feet have ever left the ground in a yoga pose. In this fun and exhilarating workshop, students will learn how to lift off with mindfulness and ease. Various poses such as Bakasana (crow pose), Parsva Bakasana (side crow) and Eka Pada Koundinyasana will be explored.  This playful workshop will focus on building upper body strength as well as deep core work which are required in all arm balance poses.

Part 2: Advanced/Intermediate
In this challenging workshop, more advanced poses will be explored such as Astavakrasana (Eight Angle Pose), Eka Pada Galavasana (Flying Pigeon Pose), and  Maksikanagasana (Dragonfly Pose). No prior experience in any of these poses is necessary although having had some success in beginner arm balance poses is recommended to taking this workshop. Part 1 of this series is a good place to start if you have never done any Arm Balancing poses in your practice.

BREAKING DOWN VINYASA
The movements from Plank to Chaturanga to Upward Facing Dog and Downward Facing Dog are a staple in any Vinyasa yoga class yet so difficult to grasp. This workshop is designed to break down each pose in Suryanamaskar A, as well as the transitions between them while understanding how to link breath with movement. Jump backs and jump throughs will also be explored in this workshop in an attempt to provide students with the proper tools required to learn how to set up the foundation of vinyasa. This workshop is suitable for all levels.

BACKBENDING WORKSHOP
This workshop will combine a heart opening flow practice to warm up the body, focusing on front-body and hip opening postures as well as spinal techniques to increase the mobility and strength of your spine. This workshop is designed to offer students the tools to not only deepen their backbends but to maintain a healthy spine as your backbending practice continues to grow. This workshop is suitable for all levels.
